Full Breakdown
City of Roswell Code of Ordinances § 14.2.4(1) makes it unlawful to possess, consume, or be under the influence of any alcoholic, malt, or vinous beverage inside a City of Roswell public park, including the Roswell Trail System, or inside any building supervised by the Recreation, Parks, Historic and Cultural Affairs Department. The ban lifts only where a park's signage or its published rules expressly permit alcohol, such as at an approved event. The rule is one of Article 14.2's list of park-conduct prohibitions and applies citywide, not just at Town Square.

Article 14.2 sets one penalty for all its prohibitions at § 14.2.6: up to $250, up to 90 days imprisonment, up to 90 days community service, or a combination, at the municipal judge's discretion.
