Any person may report a violation of these regulations or a condition of development approval by filing a complaint with the Code Enforcement Officer. The Historic Preservation Board or its staff shall report violations of these regulations if they determine that any improvement within a designated historic landmark, or historic landmark district is endangered by failure to comply with City Code, or that other improvements in visual proximity to an historic landmark or historic landmark district fail to comply with City Code to such an extent as to detract from the desirable character of the historic landmark or historic landmark district. Upon receipt of a complaint, a Code Enforcement Officer shall promptly investigate to determine whether a violation of these regulations exists. Within ten (10) days of the date a complaint is filed, a Code Enforcement Officer shall report to the complainant regarding the disposition or status of the complaint.
