Full Breakdown
St. George City Code section 3-2V-1(G) requires every licensed short-term residential rental property to designate a local property manager available twenty-four hours a day to field tenant and neighborhood complaints. The unit must post a visible sign inside listing that manager's name and phone number, the unit's maximum occupancy, and the garbage pickup day. It's a mandatory point-of-contact rule, not a requirement that a host live on-site or in the city.
Violations & Fines
Failure to designate or post a reachable local manager is a violation of the licensing article; the owner and property manager are jointly and severally liable, and the city can revoke the short-term rental business license under section 3-2V-1(H).
