Every Henrico short-term rental must conspicuously post the County noise ordinance inside the dwelling, and guests are subject to it. Rentals may not be used for parties, weddings, receptions, or other commercial events, and a responsible adult must resolve complaints, keeping disturbances in check in residential neighborhoods.
Section 24-4431(K) requires the property owner to conspicuously post inside every short-term rental the property address, owner and responsible-adult contact information, emergency shut-off instructions, trash and recycling schedules, and the Henrico County noise ordinance (Chapter 10, Article III of the County Code). Guests are bound by that noise ordinance the same as any resident. Section 24-4431(F) separately bars using a short-term rental for parties, banquets, weddings, receptions, meetings, filming, or advertising, curbing the loud events that most often disturb neighbors.
