Parking on unpaved surfaces in the front yard is prohibited, which means STR guests cannot park on the grass to accommodate extra vehicles. Keller Code of Ordinances Chapter 20 (Traffic) governs on-street parking, with many residential streets posted for no overnight parking or otherwise restricted. Additionally most Keller subdivisions are governed by HOAs with CCRs that prohibit on-street parking overnight, prohibit boats and RVs from being parked in driveways, and cap the number of vehicles that may be visible from the street. STR operators should clearly communicate total available on-site parking to guests before booking and limit bookings to groups that fit within the driveway and garage. The City of Keller does not currently issue STR parking variances.
Parking on unpaved yard surfaces is a code compliance violation with fines up to 500 dollars per day. On-street parking violations carry civil penalties under the Keller Municipal Court. HOA violations are separate.
