Bellaire, TX Sign Regulations: Garage Sale Signs (2026)

Bellaire's sign regulations restrict where garage sale signs may be displayed. Temporary garage sale signs are permitted on the property where the sale is being held and on private property with the owner's permission. Signs may not be placed in the public right-of-way, on traffic signs or poles, on utility poles or structures, or on any city-owned property. Signs should be of reasonable size and securely mounted to prevent becoming a hazard or windblown debris. Signs must be posted no earlier than the day before the sale and removed by the end of the day after the sale concludes.
