Pierce County Code lists garage sale signs among temporary signs in PCC 18B.10.040, which include banners, pennants, feather/sail signs, window signs, A-boards, and yard signs made of cloth, paper, plastic, or similar material. Yard signs may not exceed 32 square feet. Temporary signs may not be placed in or over a public right-of-way except an approved community event banner, and may not flash, blink, block traffic visibility, or create a nuisance.
