Balloons, inflatable signs and other inflatable objects containing text and/or graphics, which have a total visible area (individually or combined) that does not exceed 33 square feet shall be considered a temporary sign and shall require a sign permit. Balloons that do not contain text and/or graphics shall not require a sign permit. No balloon, inflatable sign, or other inflatable objects shall exceed the height of the principal building on the site, shall not extend over the public right-of-way when fully extended, shall not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic.8.Searchlights or beacons shall be considered temporary signs, shall require a sign permit, and are allowed a maximum of three days per calendar year.
