Section 5.64.020(A) makes it unlawful for a solicitor to ring the bell, knock, or otherwise seek admittance at a residence posting "No Solicitors," "No Trespassers," or words of similar import. The City Clerk's decal is deemed sufficient notice, and other similar signs count too. Residents get one at City Hall, 8500 Santa Fe Drive, or by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope. Subsection B extends the protection to an entire multi-family complex where every street entrance is posted. Separate rules bar solicitation before 10 a.m. or after 9 p.m., bar return visits within 14 days, and require a solicitor to leave when asked.
