Henry County, GA Soliciting & Door-to-Door: Solicitor Permits (2026)

Section 3-3-46 makes it unlawful for anyone to canvass or solicit at residences in unincorporated Henry County for orders, sales, subscriptions or business of any kind without first registering with the revenue collection officer and paying the regulatory fee. Each registrant must supply their name, permanent address and signature, the name and address of their employer, the products sold, and their proposed method of operation, and must be fingerprinted and photographed by a county employee. 00 per registration; an approved registration is valid for ninety days and can be renewed within the same calendar year for another ninety-day period without a new investigation or added fee.

Subsection (1)(b) requires the county to issue each registrant an identity card showing their name and photograph, the company name, and the registration's expiration date, which the solicitor must carry at all times and show to every customer and at every residence or business canvassed. m.
