Summary

Redwood City makes it unlawful to solicit or peddle within the City without first obtaining an identification permit from the Chief of Police, and that permit is required in addition to any business license.

It is hereby declared unlawful for any person to solicit or peddle within the City unless he first obtains an identification permit to do so from the Chief of Police as provided in this Article. Such permit shall be in addition to any business license required.

It is hereby further declared unlawful for any person holding a permit issued under this Article to refuse or fail to wear properly, and at the times required, the identification badge described in Section 28.9.
