Peddling or soliciting without a license, or knocking outside the 6:00 p.m.-to-9:00 a.m. window set by TMC 5.115.050(b), is a code violation. Absent a specific penalty in the chapter, TMC 1.10.070's general penalty applies: a fine of $1 to $499, up to 179 days in the city jail, or both, and each day the violation continues is a separate offense.
