Before a license issues, the Nassau County Police Department must inspect the proposed site and confirm adequate parking and traffic accommodations, with its report filed at the Building Inspector's office. The applicant must file a public liability insurance policy of at least $10,000 per person and $20,000 per accident for injuries, plus $5,000/$10,000 property damage coverage, and post a $1,000 cash bond with the Town Clerk to cover any damage to streets, trees, or adjoining property and any litter left behind; the bond is returned once the Building Inspector certifies compliance.
