Per ISPSC §305, residential pool barriers must be 48-inch minimum height measured from the side facing away from the pool. Openings cannot allow a 4-inch sphere to pass. Self-closing, self-latching gates required (latch 54 inches above grade if opening outward). Public pools regulated separately under GA DPH Rule 511-3-5. Fulton County Board of Health Environmental Health inspects public/semi-public pools.
