The 2025 Zoning Ordinance doesn't carry a pool-specific permit section; instead it folds swimming pools into its general definitions and permitting rules. Section 12 defines 'Structure' as a combination of materials assembled or maintained on a lot to give support or shelter, and lists a swimming pool by name alongside a bin, bridge, building, fence, flagpole, platform, retaining wall, sign, tank and tower. 2's general rule applies to it directly: no building or other structure may be erected, moved, added to or structurally altered until a permit has been issued by the Building Commissioner, and every application must meet the requirements of the Building Code before that permit issues.
