Full Breakdown
Where there's no alley pickup, occupants must place garbage containers within three feet of the curb line fronting their property (or the side street on corner lots). Carts with wheels go wheels-against-the-curb with six feet of clearance on both sides, two feet to the rear, and fourteen feet overhead. All containers must be out by 7:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection day and pulled back in by 8:00 p.m. the same day. The same set-out and removal window applies to curbside recycling containers under Section 15-33.
Violations & Fines
Containers not placed at the curb or collection point by the deadline are logged as "missed containers," and the resident can be charged an additional fee to get them serviced.
