Anderson offers Heavy Pick-Up the day after your trash day for furniture and most appliances. Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners with Freon, plus remodeling and move-in/out debris, are not covered.
The City of Anderson provides Heavy Pick-Up for large items the day after your regular trash collection. Acceptable items include furniture and appliances, but exclude refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners containing Freon, which require special handling. Remodeling debris and excess move-in / move-out trash are not covered under Heavy Pick-Up and must be arranged separately with Best Way Disposal. Residents needing to dispose of extra trash outside the regular cart should contact Best Way to make arrangements. Confirm your Heavy Pick-Up day against your route.
Non-covered items (Freon appliances, remodeling debris, move-out trash) left at the curb are not collected and may become a nuisance subject to enforcement.
