Full Breakdown

Section 24.15 defines a bulky item as anything longer than 3 feet, wider than 2 feet in diameter, or heavier than 40 pounds. Residents serviced by the city must contact the Solid Waste Recycling Department in advance to get a collection work order listing the items and applicable charges before setting them out; items not on the work order are left uncollected. The city also periodically runs an Annual Citywide Bulky Item Collection Program with its own flyer and schedule.
