Full Breakdown
Yuba County Code § 7.05.310 requires refuse created or accumulated in or about dwelling houses anywhere in the unincorporated area to be removed from the premises at least once a week; refuse on all other premises must also go out at least weekly, or more often if it accumulates. In the county's designated Mandatory Pickup Areas, § 7.05.200 makes subscribing to the licensed Collector's service compulsory for every improved-property owner: regularly hauling refuse there for compensation without being the Collector is unlawful. Piled-up refuse anywhere in the county can be declared a public nuisance under § 7.05.400.
Violations & Fines
Missing the weekly removal deadline or skipping mandatory Collector subscription in a Mandatory Pickup Area lets Environmental Health issue notice, declare the accumulation a nuisance under § 7.05.400, and pursue abatement by injunction under § 7.05.450.
