Under City Code Chapter 51, the city provides universal solid waste service through Waste Management of Palm Beach. Standard single-family service includes garbage collection on Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday depending on zone, weekly recycling (alternating blue bin for paper/cardboard and yellow bin for bottles/cans every other week), weekly vegetation pickup, and bulk trash by appointment. Containers must be at curb by 6 AM on collection day and removed by midnight. Hazardous materials, batteries, electronics, and paint are prohibited in curbside pickup and must be taken to the Solid Waste Authority Home Chemical and Recycling Center on Jog Road.
Missed pickup complaints go through 561-243-7000. Contaminated recycling bins may be tagged and left uncollected. Repeat violations referred to Code Enforcement.
