Any dog found running at large is impounded; if not redeemed by the owner (paying keeping, feeding, and impounding costs) within three days, it may be disposed of as provided by law. Township parks require leashes; the dog park allows off-leash use only inside the fenced sand area.
Impoundment of the dog; owner must pay keeping, feeding, and impounding costs to redeem within three days or the dog may be disposed of by law. Township animal-code violations carry fines up to $2,000.
