Full Breakdown
Sec. 536-801(a)(4) incorporates Article 17 of Title 675 of the Indiana Administrative Code, the Indiana Electrical Code, by reference as a minimum building standard, including later amendments as published in the Indiana Register. Electrical permit fees are set separately under Sec. 536-605, and connecting or using power before inspection and sign-off is barred by Sec. 536-404. This adopted-code regime applies only within the Consolidated City boundary set by Sec. 536-122; Beech Grove, Lawrence, Southport and Speedway administer their own electrical permitting.
