1305.10 REQUIRED INSPECTIONS; WRITTEN NOTICE.
(a) Inspections are required for the following:
(1) Footer: after forms and stakes are in; before concrete is placed.
(2) Foundation: after plaster, waterproofing, tile and gravel; before backfilling.
(3) Framing: after plumbing, wiring, heating, rough chimney and fireplaces are completed; before framing is covered.
(4) Rough insulation inspection: after all wall cavities and similar spaces required to be insulated are ready, and before they are concealed.
(5) Basement floor: before concrete is poured.
(6) Final: after all mechanicals are installed and approved, before occupancy. ... (c) Written notice shall be given the office of the Chief Building Official for the above inspections. The Inspector shall make the above inspections, and failure to do so within forty-eight hours shall deem the inspection waived. Failure of the owner or contractor to request inspection shall be deemed a misdemeanor.
