Euless, TX enforces scaffold safety through the adopted International Building Code (IBC) and International Residential Code (IRC) as amended by Chapter 18 of the Euless Code of Ordinances. Scaffolding used on construction projects must meet OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L requirements for design, capacity, bracing, guardrails, and access. Residential scaffolds on low single-family work do not require a separate scaffold permit but remain part of the underlying building permit.
