Chesapeake Bay Critical Area has stricter limits: Resource Conservation Area (RCA) 15% max impervious; Limited Development Area (LDA) 25% max; Intensely Developed Area (IDA) per underlying zoning but with stormwater offset required. Lots exceeding must apply variance through the County Board of Appeals or reduce coverage.
