Forsyth County, GA Business Licensing & Operations: Adult Entertainment (2026)

Section 10-33 makes it unlawful to operate an adult entertainment establishment in unincorporated Forsyth County without an annual license, which costs $750 initially plus a $750 annual regulatory fee due by November 30 each year; late renewals face a 20 percent surcharge and applications filed after January 1 are treated as new applications. No premises holding an alcohol license may hold an adult entertainment license, and vice versa. Section 10-36 imposes strict spacing: no adult establishment may sit within 1,000 feet of residentially zoned land, a church, school, library, college, park, cemetery, government building, or day care; within 1,000 feet of any alcohol-selling establishment or historic resource; within 500 feet of another adult establishment; or within 250 feet of Georgia 400's right-of-way.

Establishments are confined to M-1 (light industrial) or M-2 (heavy industrial) zoning and must sit on at least one acre with 150 feet of road frontage. m. Monday through Friday and to midnight on Saturday, with no operation on Sunday or Christmas Day. Employees must be adult entertainer permit holders at least 18 years old, and section 10-37 bars any alcohol, drug consumption, or possession on the premises and prohibits performances closer than four feet to a patron.
