Plymouth's home occupation chapter carves out a short list of activities that no home-based business may ever perform, regardless of whether it operates under the lighter permitted track or applies for a home occupation license. 04, Subd. 4(a) bars auto repair, whether for consideration or not, of any vehicle that is not registered to a resident of the dwelling or to that resident's son, daughter, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild. The prohibition applies even to unpaid favors: fixing a friend's or coworker's car in a Plymouth driveway or garage as a side business is barred outright, not merely capped or licensed like other home occupations.
