Operating hours typically restricted 9 AM to 10 PM. Signage must be conservative (no cartoon imagery, no neon). Ocean County's conservative stance differs from neighboring Atlantic County which has approved multiple retailers.
Operating without NJ CRC license: $5,000 to $50,000 plus closure. Operating in opt-out municipality: zoning violation $1,250 per day plus injunction. Sales to minors: license revocation plus criminal charges. Buffer violations: permit denial.
