Chapter 291-1.1 establishes specific prohibited construction and demolition hours. On weekdays, construction is prohibited between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM. On weekends, construction is prohibited between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM. On federal holidays, construction and demolition is prohibited at all times regardless of noise generated. Emergency work is exempt from these restrictions. The 2022 ordinance amendment (Ord. 10-22) clarified that these prohibited hours apply regardless of the noise level generated.
