Anyone who wants to canvass, solicit, distribute materials, or peddle merchandise door-to-door in Cherry Hill Township must first get a written permit from the Chief of Police, submit to fingerprinting and a background check, and pay a $90 application fee. Township Code § 6-2 also limits house-to-house activity to 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and bans it entirely on Sundays.
