In the City of Coconut Creek, Florida, Section 9-46 bars the use or storage of barbeque grills, hibachis and similar outdoor cooking devices on balconies, terraces or porches of multi-story buildings, regardless of the floor. Grills must be used outside the building at a safe distance from buildings, structures and overhangs, as the Florida Fire Prevention Code and other applicable law determine.
