Concord closes unlit park areas at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (8:30 p.m. during daylight saving) and closes lit facilities such as basketball and tennis courts at 11:00 p.m. Entering or remaining in any city park after its posted closing hour is a misdemeanor under Sec. 42-20, enforced by Concord Police and Parks and Recreation staff, who must post the applicable hour at every park entrance.
