Corpus Christi's 11-member Landmark Commission must approve any demolition, exterior change, or removal of a property listed on the city's preservation plan or designated an "H" Historic Overlay landmark. That approval takes a three-fourths vote of the full commission, not just a majority of those present, and comes only after a noticed public hearing.
