In the Village of Hamburg, bingo is lawful only for an authorized organization holding a license issued by the Village Clerk, and games of chance need a Clerk license too. Bingo cannot be held oftener than six days in any one calendar month, and violations are misdemeanors carrying up to $1,000, one year in jail, or both.
