Public Alcohol Use

Jupiter bars drinking or carrying an open container of alcohol on streets, sidewalks, benches, parking lots, and other town-owned public land, and within 500 feet of a commercial establishment's parking lot, under Sec. 4-5. Exceptions cover permitted special events, licensed transport, town-mapped exempt areas, and public beaches, where alcohol is legal only in an aluminum or plastic container, never glass.
