Fire Pit Rules
Recreational fires and cooking fires are allowed in Meridian without a burn permit. Under the adopted Fire Code (IFC 307.4.2), a recreational fire must be at least 25 feet from any structure or combustible material, no larger than 3 feet in diameter, and no more than 2 feet in height. Fires are banned in hazardous conditions.
