Newport Beach grants residential density bonuses of up to 50 percent, plus development standard waivers, for housing developments that reserve a share of units for very low-, low- or moderate-income households under NBMC Chapter 20.32. The bonus scales with the percentage of affordable units set aside, following Table 3-6 in § 20.32.050.
