Park Curfew

Port St. Lucie parks stay open every day of the year on posted hours set individually for each facility, and City Code Sec. 96.07 lets the chief of police, with the city manager's consent, impose a general curfew closing parks after those hours. (a)Except for unusual and unforeseen emergencies, or approved activities extending beyond the designated time, parks shall be open to the public every day of the year during designated hours. The opening and closing hours for each individual park and recreational center shall be posted for public information.(b)The chief of police, with the consent of the city manager, may impose a general curfew.
