Bike Lane Rules

Santa Rosa's camping ordinance bars anyone from sitting, sleeping, camping or storing personal property in a bike lane, street or public right-of-way whenever it hinders or obstructs bicycles, pedestrians or vehicles trying to pass. Section 11-22.020(B)(5), adopted by Ordinance 2023-012, is one of several public-right-of-way restrictions that also protect sidewalks, building entrances, driveways, fire equipment and transit stops.
