Park Curfew
Syracuse locks every city park each night and reopens at sunrise. From October 1 through April 30 the gates close at 9:00 p.m.; from May 1 through September 30 the curfew shifts to 10:00 p.m. Sec. 17-2 makes it an offense for an unauthorized person to remain inside after closing, and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Youth Programs enforces the schedule at every park in the system.
