Wilmington's bicycle code, City Code § 5-36, requires cyclists on a roadway or bikeway to ride as near the right side as practicable and in single file except where riding two abreast is allowed. Motor vehicles may not travel or park within a bikeway when it would conflict with a bicyclist's use, and every violation is a punishable infraction.
