Height Limits

In unincorporated Boone County, Indiana, fences under six feet do not need an improvement location permit under Boone County Code § 157.140(C). On corner lots, § 156.072(J)(1) additionally bars any fence, wall, hedge or shrub from blocking sight lines between three and 12 feet high inside the platted sight triangle.
