Brunswick County's noise ordinance singles out gatherings of 10 or more people that spill outdoors into a yard, balcony, parking lot or common area: if the resulting noise is plainly audible on a neighboring property between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., it is a cited violation. The rule applies only in the unincorporated county, not inside its beach towns.
