Rodent Control

Catawba County prohibits depositing, storing or accumulating solid waste or garbage on any property in a manner that provides food or harborage for rodents and vermin, or creates a fire or safety hazard, under Code of Ordinances § 32-6(a)(2). The rule applies to every owner, occupant, tenant or lessee, and works alongside the chapter's rodent-proof container standard for how waste is stored day to day.
