In unincorporated Cecil County, bicycling on County park property is confined to roads and pathways designated for bikes, and riders on a trail or pathway must stay at or below 10 miles per hour under the Parks and Recreation ordinance enforced by the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Bicycling. A person shall operate a bicycle on park property in accordance with the following requirements: (a) A person shall operate a bicycle on a road within park property. (b) A person may operate a bicycle on a pathway or trail designated for bicycle riding. (c) The maximum speed on a trail or pathway is 10 miles per hour.
