Breed Restrictions

Pet Limits

Mandatory Spay/Neuter

Charles County will not release an unclaimed dog or cat from the Tri-County Animal Shelter for adoption unless it is already sterilized or the adopter signs an agreement guaranteeing sterilization, within 30 days for adult animals or by a contract date for puppies and kittens.
