Anyone selling or soliciting orders door-to-door in Charles County needs a license under Code § 67-2, issued through the Clerk of the Circuit Court for $100 a year or $25 for a single day. Farmers, school-fundraiser students under 18, and vendors of specific staple goods are exempt; violators face a misdemeanor fine of $25 to $100.
