Pool Permits
A residential pool in unincorporated Chelan County cannot sit in the required front-yard setback and must comply with the International Swimming Pool and Spa Code, per Chelan County Code Section 11.88.170(2). Building permits for pool construction expire two years after issuance under Section 3.04.040, and small prefabricated pools under 24 inches deep are exempt from a permit altogether.
