Leak Reporting Duty
DeKalb County Code § 25-56 makes it unlawful to let water go to waste through leaks, breaks or malfunctions in any pipe or fixture on premises you own or occupy. Owners have 2 business days after discovering a leak, or after county notice, to repair or report it before the county may terminate water service.
