Bike Lane Rules

Motor vehicles and other powered vehicles are banned outright from any designated bike path or nature trail on county property or right-of-way in Franklin County, starting with the St. George Island bicycle path on Gulf Beach Drive. Franklin County Code § 12-10 also bars littering, vegetation damage and reckless riding on the same paths, and carries up to 60 days in jail or a $500 fine.
